Having completed his BLC and LLB degree at the University of Pretoria, Michael Kirkcaldy was admitted to the profession as an attorney on the 21st of February 1995 and then as a conveyancer on the 5th of December 1995. He established the firm “M R Kirkcaldy Attorneys” in 1996 and built his reputation as a proficient commercial attorney for clients such as City Property, EG Chapman and Growthpoint. The firm quickly grew on the back of a good reputation and excellent service delivery. Michael is a well-respected entrepreneur, having established and run successful businesses over the past 25 years such as the Venturefin, Batterboys Caterers and Old Farm Properties to name a few. Michael specialises in all aspects of Property Law, Conveyancing and Commercial Law.

Margie Monteiro

(Conveyancing Secretary and Office Manager)

A member of the firm since 1996, Mrs. Margie Monteiro has been an integral part of the firm’s success and growth over the years. Margie has served as an invaluable Personal Assistant and Conveyancing Secretary to Mr. Kirkcaldy since her joining the firm and is responsible for all matters relating to the daily management of KP Inc. Margie has over 25 years’ experience in the fields of Commercial Litigation, Collections and Conveyancing; specialising in bond registrations.

Lee Van Der Westhuizen

Lee Van Der Westhuizen

(Director) BA (Law) LLB (UP)

Mrs. Lee Van der Westhuizen completed her BA Law and LLB degrees at the University of Pretoria and was admitted as an Attorney in April 2019 after serving her articles at the firm. She currently heads the Sectional Title and HOA Collections department. Lee has a keen interest and specialises in Magistrates Court and High Court litigation, Sectional Title and Homeowners Association disputes as well as the drafting of company MOI’s..

Susan Nkuna

(General Administrator)

Mrs. Susan Nkuna started at KP Inc in 2004 in the position of cleaner and tea lady.  Having displayed excellent communication, administrative and inter-personal skills, she was soon promoted to the position of General Administrator.   Susan is tasked with a host of administrative functions and is the first friendly face one is greeted with when visiting our office.

Natalie Reitz

(Collections Administrator)

Ms. Natalie Reitz has been a long-standing member of the KP Inc team. Joining the firm in February 2004, Natalie has accumulated extensive experience in the legal fields of commercial debt collection, commercial relationship management, conveyancing preparation and general office administration. Natalie is currently responsible for the collection administration for one of the largest property managing agents in Pretoria.

Garth Kirkcaldy

(Associate Attorney, Notary & Conveyancer) BCom (Law) LLB (UP)

Mr. Garth Kirkcaldy joined the KP Inc Team in 2020 and qualified as an Attorney and Notary in 2022 as well as a Conveyancer in 2024, after two years of Articles of Clerkship.  Garth has experience in the fields of Commercial and Property Litigation, Company Law, Contract Law, Family Law, Debt Collection, Estates and Insolvency.   Garth’s interests are in the fields of General Litigation, Conveyancing, Environmental Law and International Law.

Hannah Kirkcaldy

Hannah Kirkcaldy is a candidate attorney who joined the firm in 2024. She forms part of the conveyancing team, contributing to property law and related legal services. She has a strong interest in conveyancing and intends to specialise in the field.

Kunaal Singh

Kunaal Singh joined KP Inc. as a Candidate Attorney in January 2024. Kunaal has a passion for litigation and assists the team with Magistrate Court disputes, particularly those involving Sectional Titles and Homeowners Associations

Angelique Pretorius

(Financial Manager) BCom Accounting (UNISA), Professional Accountant (SA)

Mrs. Angelique Pretorius was appointed to the position of Financial Manager at KP Inc in April 2025 and has 10 years experience in financial management and reporting of groups. Angelique is responsible for the financial management of KP Inc as well as a group of companies involved in the legal, financial services, hospitality, entertainment and retail sectors.

Demi Genis

(Administrative Assistant)

Ms. Demi Genis joined KP Inc. as an Administrative Assistant in May 2025. She brings with her experience in office administration, now focusing on the legal sector. Demi has a keen interest in General Litigation, Commercial Law, and Labour Law, and is passionate about furthering her legal career. She plans to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Law (BA Law) followed by an LLB in the near future. Demi’s dedication, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for the law make her a committed and valued member of the KP Inc. team.
